Press Conference, Thursday, 16 September
I will be giving a press conference tomorrow, 16 September, to formally launch the publication of the book written by Ken Phillips (my husband) and me. It is CHEMORELLA (Quimiorela), and you can find out more about it by going to “Chemorella” on Facebook and Twitter. At the press conference I plan to reveal the events in my life that prompted Ken and me to come up with this great story. I also will have copies of the book and will be showing the incredible illustrations from it. It’s a 60-page, full-color, fully illustrated book for anyone 10 years of age and older (including adults). I also will discuss the purposes that the book will serve: emotional support for the cancer patient and his or her family, encouraging people to get test and treated for cancer, and creating empathy for those who are fighting this disease or, for that matter, struggling with any of life’s major challenges.
